Heeding a call from her childhood, Paula followed the path of her mother’s intuitive lineage. After graduating from New York University, she apprenticed to a shaman for six years refining the skills that had been awakening all her life. Paula began her work in New York City, serving as advisor for the Women’s Rites Center, a ceremonial space for women of all paths. There she founded Path of Heart. a group that offered monthly services to the Divine Mother. She ran a Shamanic Council in partnership with other woman for 5 years. working for Microsoft as the director of content for their earth-based and Eastern religion forums. Paula has created countless ceremonies celebrating all aspects of life, from Baby-Naming to Weddings to End-of-Life. She has worked with leading teachers from the world’s mystic traditions and brings an energy of universal Oneness to all her offerings.
While healing from a chronic health issue, Paula created a process of bringing lost energy back into her body. Gently, she was guided by her Spirit guides and allies on exactly what would help to heal the trauma that led to her illness. It was a powerful healing catalyst that changed her life. In 1992, Paula began sharing the Changing Personal History, a process of Spirit Retrieval. After moving to Denver Colorado in 1997, Paula created ShamanStar, a year-long training that uses the art and practice of Shamanism to empower and kindle the gifts present in each of us. She has taught at the Glastonbury Goddess Conference and has published in several contemporary spiritual publications. Through her classes and retreats, she has guided hundreds of women and men to awaken the power within.
